Role Description

We're hiring a Summer Electrical PCB Designer & Tester Intern to help design, develop, and validate PCBs for our next generation of life-science instruments. You'll own real circuit and layout work — not busywork — and ship boards that go into production-grade research products.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in Electrical Engineering (or recently graduated)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving instincts; comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

  • Review EE product requirements
  • Review EE system architecture
  • Design production grade PCBs
  • Test and validate PCBs for product integration
  • Vendor management / PCB fabrication

Must Have

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher
  • Passion for EE PCB design to enable new products
  • Proven EE skills with complex PCB designs
  • Highly creative and strong work ethic
  • Experience with working in a multi-functional team

Nice to have

  • mCAD familiarity
  • Embedded firmware coding
  • Life science instrumentation exposure
  • Use of AI for rapid PCB design
