Cookie Policy

How cookies and similar technologies are used on 37degrees.io.

Cookies are small bits of text sent by our servers to your computer or device when you access our services. They enable core functionality, plus optional analytics.

What we use

This site uses a small, deliberately minimal set of cookies and similar storage.

Essential (always on)

  • Local storage holds your cookie preferences (37d-consent-v1) so the banner doesn’t reappear once you’ve decided. This is not a cookie and is not sent to our servers.
  • No third-party essential cookies are set.

If — and only if — you click Accept all in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used. GA4 sets the following cookies:

CookiePurposeLifetime
_gaDistinguishes unique users (anonymous)2 years
_ga_*Persists session state for the GA4 property2 years

GA4 is configured to:

  • Anonymize IP addresses before storage.
  • Disable Google Signals (no cross-device tracking, ads personalization, or remarketing).
  • Only track page views — no scrolls, clicks, or events beyond standard.

What we do not do

  • No advertising cookies.
  • No remarketing pixels, conversion trackers, or third-party advertising tags.
  • No social-media tracking cookies.

Changing your mind

You can revisit your choice at any time:

  • Click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner.
  • Clicking Essentials only revokes analytics consent and removes existing GA cookies on next page load.

You can also manage cookies directly in your browser. The site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals because there is no consistent industry standard for them — your cookie-banner choice always takes precedence.
