37degrees, Inc. has been selected by Amazon Web Services as a portfolio company under the AWS Activate Portfolio — a curated program for startups building on AWS.
We are developing the next generation of connected laboratory instruments and cloud software for life-science research. The OMĒOS platform — the data layer powering every 37degrees connected module, and the substrate our agent tier reads from — runs on AWS. This program supports the cloud infrastructure behind it as we continue building.
Under the program, the 37degrees team gains:
- AWS credits and technical support — to scale OMĒOS storage, streaming-telemetry ingest, and inference workloads as our installed fleet grows.
- Architecture guidance — direct access to AWS solutions architects for the design of the queryable-history and agent-callable APIs underpinning the platform.
- Promotion and visibility — inclusion in the AWS Startups showcase and the broader AWS partner ecosystem.
- Ecosystem access — introductions to other AWS-built startups in healthcare, life sciences, and AI.
Why this matters
Our technical brief on real-time cell culture telemetry makes the case that streaming, queryable instrument data is what turns “did everything stay normal?” from a question into a defensible record. That record lives in OMĒOS, and OMĒOS runs on AWS. Robust, cost-managed cloud infrastructure isn’t a marketing line for us — it’s the load-bearing substrate underneath every claim we make about reproducibility and agent compatibility.
