Features
Performance
Temperature stability
CultureON 100 rapidly reaches physiological temperature and holds a stable 37 °C with minimal fluctuation over time. Precise thermal control helps protect cell viability across both short workflows and extended transport.
Battery performance
Engineered for transport, CultureON 100 delivers consistent battery-powered operation — over 8 hours on a full charge — while maintaining temperature and CO₂ control throughout use.
CO₂ stability
Establishes and maintains the CO₂ environment needed to support proper media buffering and pH balance during transport and off-site work.

How To
Frequently asked questions
What is the CultureON 100 used for?
The CultureON 100 is a portable CO₂ incubator that holds a controlled cell-culture environment — temperature, CO₂, and humidity — outside the lab. It's built for transporting live cells between labs, core facilities, and surgical or off-site settings, and as a personal incubator for precious samples or limited bench space.
How long does the battery last, and can it run on wall power?
A full charge provides more than 8 hours of transport time. The unit also runs from a 12 V wall adapter, and automatic UPS switching moves between battery and DC power so conditions stay stable during handoffs.
How is CO₂ supplied — do I need a gas line or tank?
No external lines or tanks. CO₂ comes from an integrated plug-in cartridge, and a single cartridge provides more than 30 days of CO₂ control at 5%.
What temperature and CO₂ ranges can it maintain?
Set-point temperature ranges from 4 °C to 45 °C, and CO₂ from atmospheric (~0%) up to 10%. Control accuracy is ±0.25 °C for temperature, ±0.3% for CO₂, and ±4% for relative humidity. Ambient temperature should stay at least 5 °C below the set-point.
Can I monitor conditions remotely?
Yes. The CultureON 100 is Bluetooth- and Wi-Fi-enabled, so you can check temperature, CO₂, and humidity without opening the unit. The omēos app — mobile, desktop, and cloud — provides real-time data, long-term storage, and alerts.
How do I get pricing or place an order?
Add the CultureON 100 to your quote from this page and submit the request — our team will follow up with pricing, lead time, and any application-specific guidance. Every unit ships with a 1-year parts-and-labor warranty.
